IIn November and December, all classes at Krautheim Secondary School worked with their teachers to prepare for the Christmas bazaar, which took place on the Friday before the Christmas holidays. The bazaar raised an incredible €6,400! This entire sum was donated to the Namibia Support Association. On behalf of the children at the student residence in Okombahe, we extend our heartfelt thanks.
The Namibia Support Association will now ensure that the underground water pipes of the student residence are repaired as quickly as possible with this money. The Black Lutheran Church (ELCRN), which runs the student residence, has already commissioned individuals from Okombahe to submit a cost estimate and begin the initial work.

In February/March, Susanne Zeller, the second chairperson, and Margret Knoche will be in Namibia and Okombahe to see how the work is hopefully getting off to a good start. Hopefully, by summer at the latest, when the next group of travelers will be in Namibia, the children will once again have running water for their toilets and washrooms.
