Who are we? What do we want?
Margret and Joachim Knoche lived and worked at the Martin Luther School near Okombahe in Namibia from 1989 to 1996.
We support needy children, young people and families
with a focus on the Okombahe area. About the Basic services
Beyond us Education
and early childhood development, starting from kindergarten age, is particularly important. We cultivate this through regular visits. intensive partnerships
with the helping people on site, the church communities, schools, municipalities and Namibian aid organizations.
The Namibia Support Association eV was founded in 2012 in 74629 Pfedelbach and currently has two permanent pillars and several special projects:
1) The village development of Okombahe.
2) The schooling of Namibian children and adolescents
All members of the board and the committee work on a voluntary basis for the association.
Therefore, we are especially pleased when we find new members and helpers who, like us, are committed to helping the people of Namibia.
The purpose of the association is described in our statutes:
§ 2 - Purpose
The association pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of the section "Tax-privileged purposes" of the German Fiscal Code.
The purpose of the association is to provide humanitarian aid in Namibia.
The purpose of the association is achieved in particular through the realization or support of school projects, kindergartens and people in need.
This can also be achieved by supporting international exchanges.
